The Klimt Trio

Formed in the fall of 2009, the Klimt Trio is already becoming recognized as an ensemble of the highest caliber. They have appeared in the Boston area in such venues as Jordan Hall. Brought together at the New England Conservatory in Boston, pianist Kyu-Yeon Kim, violinist Robin Scott, and cellist Ahrim Kim have each had major successes in their solo careers, winning prizes in the Menuhin Competition, the Cassado Cello Competition, the Dublin International Piano Competition, and many other international competitions. They have appeared with many major orchestras such as the Seoul Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, Orchestre National de Lille, and Hungarian Chamber Orchestra, and have performed as chamber musicians and soloists in some of the most important venues in the world, including the Salzburg Mozarteum, the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Center, Carnegie’s Weill Hall, and Alice Tully Hall.
