A Conversation on Jazz
Have you ever wanted to know more about jazz as an art form, about the many varieties of jazz, about what it's like to be a jazz musician, about the history of jazz, how jazz is actually created, or about any of the other topics that might be on the minds of newcomers to jazz and long-time fans alike? Or maybe you would just like to know more about the performers – Monty Alexander and Grace Kelly – appearing at this year's Jazz Festival.
Well, here's an opportunity to satisfy your craving. On Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., Monty Alexander and Grace Kelly will sit down with jazz critic (and performer) Bill Edgar, who will moderate a Conversation on Jazz between the two performers and the audience. There may even be some opportunities for demonstrations of style and technique.
Come for an enjoyable and informative session with our two star performers, as well as an opportunity for "up-close-and-personal" interaction.
